Emergency Breathing Apparatus (EBA)
Emergency breathing apparatus (or Escape Breathing Apparatus) are designed to provide 5 to 10 minutes of breathing air, and are geared toward ease of use for the novice in an emergency.

Like a fire extinguisher, EBA's can be a life saver if provided in large buildings where occupants could be detained while escaping a fire and smoke situation.
