General Description:

The "Spiromatic-S2" provides personal protection in chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) terrorist threat environments. It works by providing pressurized air inside the breathing mask for up to an hour at a time. Pressurized air makes it harder for potentially-harmful agents to get in, safeguarding a firefighter's respiratory system. In addition to being CBRN-hardened to protect against weapons of mass destruction exposures, the S2 offers a simple, modular design for high reliability.
