General Description:

The Scott 2.2 / 4.5 WireFrame w/ Supplied Air Connection provides the option of connecting to an air source outside a contaminated area via an airline.  These respirators are used in atmospheres deemed IDLH or Immediately Dangerous to Life or Health.  (MSA calls this feature a Dual Purpose Connection.)

 

The SCBA utilizes an unequaled first stage Pressure Reducer, second stage regulator, mask and totally balanced harness and frame assembly which reduces fatigue. The 2.2 / 4.5 Pressure Reducer automatically transfers air from the primary path to a secondary path in the event of failure in the primary path or depletion of cylinder air. The EZ Flo regulator requires less work to breathe, resulting in reduced fatigue and increased duration of air. The Scott AV2000 face piece features three color-coded sizes, replaceable lens, set-and forget temple adjustment straps. The lightweight backframe has a time saving, sliding adjustable band to accommodate the wide range of cylinder sizes. Available in low pressure 2216 psi 30 minute duration and high pressure 4500 psi 30, 45 or 60 minute duration SCBA.
